Tebra´s services don´t just include sharpening:
- Manufacture of new rollers
Cutting rollers and bottom rollers can be made of different materials. The maximum diameter of our production is Ø 600mm, the maximum length 2000mm. Bottom rollers can be ground reversed. - Production of new bearing races
We produce a drawing of the new races and the associated roller. Subsequently, the races are manufactured and assembled on to the old roller. Finally, the whole tool is ground. - Roller repair
In some cases we can also repair defective rollers. To do this wear resistant materials are sprayed or welded. Initially a consultation regarding the prospects of success of the repair is made with the customer. - Cassettes can be fully serviced
When delivering cutting roller cassettes the cassette is fully checked and cleaned. The bearings are inspected and lubricated, the cartridge cleaned. Any defects will be discussed with the client. - Creating a digital "life cycle" report
This report can be accessed at any time. Thus, the cutting cost can be closely checked and changes in relation to those costs can be made. - Regrinding rollers
Our years of experience with precision grinding makes it possible to ensure perfect blade geometry with high precision concentricity. The perfect finish of the grinding material ensures a clean cut and maximum life. We can compete with the industry´s best. Before shipping, the rollers are thoroughly tested.
